My wife and I have lived and worked in Broome County for the past 28 years. We semi-retired after selling our family business in 2006. Soon after, we were planning a trip to Florida but could not find anyone to watch our house while we were gone. Also, Princess our 15-year old dog, could not take the stress of a kennel. We realized at that time, that many others may have experienced this same problem and may be in need of assistance.
In 2007, Reliable House Services, a house and pet watching service, was born. There is a need for a trusted and respected member of this community that you can rely on to visit your house or pets while you are away. Someone who will respect your privacy and who be responsible for taking care of minor issues before they turn into vacation ruining disasters.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Many insurance policies require regular property checks during the owner's absence. Insurance companies require notfification of damage within a specified time period. We will be able to meet their requirements with our daily inspections in case of bursted pipes, flooding, storm damage or other such mishaps.
